9 St Roch Market
Home to 13 food vendors, including a coffee stand, African food hub, an oyster bar and a cocktail bar, this new food hall on St. Claude Avenue has something for just about everyone for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Outdoor seating, fresh produce, and wines by the bottle available too.
10 Salon by Sucre
This French Quarter stunner is home to lunch, dinner and high tea as only Sucre's pastry mastermind Tariq Hanna and team could dream up. Impeccable service, craft cocktails, and dishes that range from daring to close to home—including a beet salad with granola and chocolate, microburgers, and even fried pickles—in a charming new space that hides atop a bustling Sucre shop.
11 Compère Lapin
Top Chef: New Orleans runner up Nina Compton makes her Warehouse District debut with this chic new restaurant pulling from Caribbean, Creole, and even Italian influences on a menu that's great for a sit-down meal or for snacks at the bar, with incredible drinks from Ricky Gomez and Abigail Gullo.
Former Gautreau's chef de cuisine Nick Lama brings modern, delicate Italian dishes to Uptown, with a menu inspired by his Sicilian family, who ran the St. Roch seafood market for ages. The grouper preparation alone is reason to visit.
13 Ursa Major
The Booty's Street Food team brings thali, small plates, and big global flavor to the South Market District with this new zodiac-driven restaurant that does reservations via ticketing system. Drinks are created with astrological signs in mind, and chef Daniel Volponi has a special knack for Hawaiian cuisine after honing his culinary chops for years on Oahu.
The Adolfo Gracia empire brings seasonal primitive dining to Central City with this new spot that centers around a giant fire pit. Most dishes chef Nick Martin prepares here have at least one element that touches the hearth, from smoked mullet dip to whole roasted chicken.
15 Rebellion Bar & Urban Kitchen
The former recording studio of Cosimo Matassa is now home to a gastropub specializing in Asian and Latin fusion from chef Daniel Dickensauge. The cocktail list was created by Twelve Mile Limit's T. Cole Newton.
Wings and fresh fruit daiquiris from chef Nathaniel Zimet and the Boucherie team are what's in store at this Riverbend gem, with small plates to come.
17 McClure's at NOLA Brewing
Neil McClure has just unleashed his full barbecue menu at the new two storied tap room adjacent to Nola Brewing. Two floors of epic beer, brisket, ribs, and rooftop deck enjoyment from 11:30 a.m. to around 10 p.m. daily.
